“Our children are our most valuable asset, thus we are proud to be a part of this programme for the past 6 years. The programme has not only made it possible for us to fulfil our social responsibility to assist the less fortunate but it has helped us to set an example to the rest of the community,” said Alias Ayob, franchisee of Smart Reader Kids® Taman Sri Bahagia, Kangar.
Noor Aqmar Amiruddin, the elder son of the late ASP Zulkifli Mamat, was one of the recipients who received RM8, 190 worth of education scholarship. His younger brother, Noor Muhammad Aqil, will also receive a full scholarship when he reaches preschooling age. ASP Zulkifli Mamat lost his life while defending the country’s honour in Lahad Datu, Sabah.
Accompanied by their parents and guardians, Ainin Sofiya Bt Md Zaidi, Nur Iman Bt Rosnizam and Nur Awatis Binti Mohd Zahir were also recipients of the National One Child One Hope Education Scholarship Programme.
The parents of five-year-old Ainin Sofiya Bt Md Zaidi, Md Zaidi Ismail and Robaie Bt Ishak shared that they used to dream about sending her to an elite preschool. Through this programme, they are thankful that their dream has eventually become a reality.
“I came to know about Smart Reader Kids® through their TV advertisement, but it was through my working experience in Smart Reader Kids® Taman Sri Bahagia, Kangar that I set aspirations to enrol my child here. Moreover, I was informed that school teachers have attested to the quality and reliability of the Smart Reader Kids® programme. Since they testify the programme is good for their children, I am certain it will be good for my child as well,” shared Robaie.
For Rosnizam Bin Nyan and Sakina Bt Taib, they expressed their heartiest appreciation as the programme has enabled their daughter, six-year-old Nur Iman Bt Rosnizam to enjoy quality preschool education from a renowned preschool brand.
“Thus far, my daughter has undergone two years of learning in Smart Reader Kids® Taman Sri Bahagia, Kangar. Her journey has been filled with positive developments because the learning programme is not limited to academic activities but also encompass other stimulating activities. She has grasped the ability to read and write equivalent to the standard of a primary school student. Personality-wise, she has become sociable and participates in various activities including being involved in dance performances in front of VIP guests. This is a significant contrast to her former self as she used to be rather shy and had difficulties adapting to a new environment,”
“For our daughter, being able to learn at a renowned preschool, especially one that brings out the best in her is a dream come true. Furthermore, with all expenses paid for, this is clearly a blessing for all of us. Our family truly appreciates the One Child One Hope Education Scholarships Programme, particularly in providing hope to our family,” added Sakina, who like other parents from the state of Perlis, has come to associate effective preschool education with Smart Reader Kids®.
At four years old, Nur Awatis Binti Mohd Zahir is already a student at Smart Reader Kids® Taman Sri Bahagia, Kangar.
“Without the One Child One Hope Education Scholarships Programme, I do not think it was possible for my child to experience the excitement of learning in a Smart Reader Kids®preschool. I am thankful that my child was chosen to participate in this programme as it offered my daughter the opportunity to learn in a wholesome environment because the teachers are well-trained and there are numerous beneficial activities that help to develop her holistically,” expressed her mother, Hafiza Mohd Hanapiah.
