CORPORATE EXECUTIVE  

Responsibilities

• To handle all matters and correspondences with Government agencies
• To maintain a good rapport with the different publics of the company and the special groups that has relations with the     company
• To resolve all public issues or conflicts having direct or indirect relation with the company                                                                  • To write speeches for the CEO and GED of Smart Reader® Worldwide Sdn Bhd                                                                   
• To plan, organise and manage the CEO and GED daily schedules
• To attend meetings and prepare minutes as and when required
• To carry out such duties and job functions which may be instructed from time to time by the Management of persons acting on behalf of the Management
 

Requirements

• Possess Degree or equivalent qualification
• With computer knowledge in Microsoft word, Excel and Power Point
• Possess experience in liaison with government agencies
• Possess an excellent command of English and Bahasa Malaysia (both verbally and in writing)
• Possess high degree of integrity, confidence and strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with people at all levels
• Highly motivated, resourceful, proactive and able to multi-task and work independently
• Pleasant personality and have a positive attitude
• Excellent planning, good organisational and time management skills and has the ability to prioritise work
• Able to meet deadlines with ease in a professional manner
• Able to liaise with all levels of management, clients and visitors

PUBLIC RELATIONS EXECUTIVE

Responsibilities

• To plan and organise promotional activities for Smart Reader® Worldwide Sdn. Bhd. and its group of companies                        • To manage, co-ordinate and execute all public relations and media programmes with full commitment
• Work closely with the other departments to ensure tight integration of all media programmes
• Participate and initiate online conversations across variety of channels
• Analyse and evaluate both existing and potential media activities and strategies

 

Requirements

• Possess a degree in Mass Communications or related discipline
• With relevant working experience in Public Relations/Media Relations/Corporate Communication
• Good communication, presentation skills and have a flair for writing
• Experience in creative writing, advertising, public relations and online media
• Able to plan and organise promotions events and to co-ordinate other communication activities
• Possess drive, initiative and strong willpower to be successful in the chosen career
• Able to integrate media into broader public relations campaigns
• Able to start work immediately will be an added advantage

 

Business Development Executive

Responsibilities
• To market Smart Reader® reading programme to Nurseries, Kindergartens and Tutorial centres throughout Malaysia as  effectively as possible
• To market Smart Reader® to overseas market as to secure reliable and effective franchisees on a regional basis for different countries
• To market Smart Reader Kids® and Smart Reader Kids++® concepts to Nurseries, Kindergartens and Tutorial centres throughout Malaysia as effective as possible
• To market new franchised product/services and related products and services provided by the Smart Reader® Worldwide group of companies

 

Requirements

• A degree or related qualification in sales and marketing
• Experience in Sales and Marketing
• Good command of English and pleasant personality
• Knowledge in Mandarin will be an added advantage
• Good telephone manners and communication skills
• Able to write marketing proposals and carry out presentations
• Willing to travel / relocate to different locations of business                                                                                                                           • Possess own transport

ASSISTANT MANAGER (DEVELOPMENT & OPERATIONS)

Responsibilities

• To market, promote and monitor the enrolment of students at Smart Reader Kids® centres
• To be in charge of the set-up of new, local and international centres and to ensure that franchised centres are in full operation, have completed staff training and maintain good student enrolment
• To provide continuous support and guidance
        

Requirements

• Degree/s in Business/Franchise Management/Education or relevant disciplines
• Experience in managing early learning centres
• Good presentation and communication skills
• Result-oriented
• An effective planner
• Knowledge of Mandarin will be an added advantage
• Possess own transport and is prepared to travel                                                                                                                                            • Preference will be given to those who can commence work immediately

PHP PROGRAMMER

Responsibilities
• To manage in-house applications and website
• To actively participate in implementation of IT related projects

        

Requirements

• Possess at least a Certificate/Diploma/Degree in Computer related studies
• Experience in PhP, MySQL and Javascript
• Experience in PhP Framework such as Yii, CakePhP & Symfony are an added advantage.
• Self-motivated, highly committed, initiative and result-oriented
• Must be a team player
• At least 2 years' experience in handling Software Development projects involving PhP, MySQL and Javascript
• Able to meet strict datelines
• Candidates with adequate experience but no relevant qualifications are also encouraged to apply

 

Lecturer (Early Childhood/Education)

Responsibilities

• To prepare teaching modules, carry out teaching and contribute towards teaching and related activities within an established programme of study
• To contribute to research and/or consultancy in the department
• To provide academic advice, guidance and support to students and to supervise on students assignment and practicum
• To act as module leader, co-ordinating module activities and liaising with module team
• To make a significant contribution to course, programme and module development and review
• To carry out academic management duties
• To act as academic tutor


Requirements

• Degree / Postgraduate and/or Master's Degree in relevant disciplines – Early Childhood Development/ Education
• Proficient in English Language
• With leadership skills

Enforcement Officer

Responsibilities:

• To conduct investigation/inspection/surveillance and raids upon information received from head(s) department
• To determine type of infringement, non-compliances, breach and remedy in relation to Franchise Act 1998
• To receive instruction from Head of Department to as totime frame for compliances, issues notices of non-compliances and citations in relation to the Franchise Act 1998

 

Requirements:

• Degree in law
• Experience in legal practices (preferably with one year experience or after chambering)
• Experience in managing early childhood learning centres
• Good presentation and communication skills
