SMART PARTNERSHIP BETWEEN SMART READER KIDS ® AND SHANGRI-LA PUTRAJAYA FOR MOTHER’S DAY 2015 CELEBRATION
The unconditional love showered by mothers to their children is an endless gift. On the 10th of May 2015, students from Smart Reader Kids® expressed appreciation towards their mothers by staging up performances at Shangri-La Putrajaya Mother’s Day 2015 Celebration.
There were three performances showcased by Smart Reader Kids® of Taman Bidara, Selayang and Damansara Heights, Kuala Lumpur. The first young performer was Ahmad Idris bin Shahhadi, five years old from Taman Bidara Smart Reader Kids® Center, Selayang. Ahmad Idris sang an acapella evergreen song entitled “Ibu” popularized by the legendary Allahyarham Tan Sri (Dr.) P.Ramlee.
The next performance was followed by a Zumba dance from Smart Reader Kids® Damansara Heights, Kuala Lumpur. The stage was graced by eight well-trained young and energetic dancers from the center. It was clearly illustrated on their faces how much fun the children were having up on stage. All present were delightfully entertained.
The third and final performer of the day was Rayyan Raiqal bin Rusnizam, six years old, from Taman Bidara Smart Reader Kids® Center, Selayang, recited a poem especially dedicated to his mother, Puan Siti Bayu. The poem reminded members of the audience of how important a mother’s role is to all of us as there is no love or devotion purer than that of a mother for her child.
Many activities such as balloon sculpture, horse riding, cooking demonstrations, live band performances, colouring competition, photo booth, face and hand painting, magic show and lucky draws were held to celebrate moms including mothers of Smart Reader Kids®. At the Smart Reader Kids® booth, RM50 discount vouchers were distributed along with colouring books, bookmarks and leaflets.
