Smart Reader Kids Islamic® – Best Tadika Islam for Early Childhood Education

The Smart Reader Kids Islamic® programme follows the Smart Tadris® syllabus, a fun and interactive Islamic curriculum for Muslim kids as young as 3 years old. Developed with Al-Quran and Sunnah experts from Masjid Negara, this programme builds a strong foundation in Islamic education and essential life skills.

I Enjoy Play-Learning – Exciting Afternoon Programme for Preschoolers

The I Enjoy Play-Learning programme is a unique half-day afternoon programme that integrates a play-based learning approach into its curriculum. Designed to make learning fun and engaging, this programme uses hands-on activities, particularly in the Smart Mindfulness programme, to foster creativity, curiosity, and independent exploration.

This afternoon programme provides children with the opportunity to explore, learn, and develop essential skills during their early formative years.

General Information

A: We offer a comprehensive range of preschool programmes, with optional add-ons such as Islamic, Mandarin, and Tamil classes (available at selected centres).

In addition, we provide after-school care and tutorial services for primary school students.

A: We do not provide daycare. However, selected centres offer a full-day programme under Smart Reader Kids® I Enjoy Play-Learning (IEP®).

A: In general, each centre has 2 sessions:
Morning session: 8.30am – 12.30pm
Afternoon session: 1.30pm – 5.30pm

For specific hours, please contact your preferred centre:.

A: Kindergarten programme: Ages 3 to 6 (based on birth year)
Tutorial programme: Ages 4 to 12
After-School Programme: Ages 7 to 12

A: Half-day: Light snacks are provided during morning break.
Full-day: Lunch is optional. Centres may offer lunch (based on caterers), or parents may pack meals from home

A: Transportation is arranged by individual centres. Please contact your local centre to find out more.

A: Yes, we offer a 1 week free trial class for new students. This gives your child the opportunity to experience our learning environment, meet our teachers, and participate in classroom activities before enrolling. Please contact your local centre to find out more.

Curriculum & Learning Approach

A: We adopt our award-winning Smart Reader Creative Teaching Methodology®, which is specially designed to nurture a child’s intellectual, emotional, physical, and social development. Our curriculum blends the best of early childhood education practices with a strong emphasis on English literacy, communication skills, and creative thinking. Through interactive learning, fun activities, and a child-centred approach, we ensure children build a solid foundation in language, mathematics, science, and moral values—all while developing confidence and a love for learning.

Importantly, all our programmes are recognised by the Ministry of Education Malaysia, ensuring they meet national standards for quality early childhood education.

A: Yes. Selected centres offer Mandarin, Tamil, and Islamic programmes

A: Yes, we do. In addition to academic subjects, we offer a range of enrichment activities to support holistic development. Our Creative Arts programme includes Kindercooking, Arts and Craft, and Music to encourage creativity and self-expression. We also incorporate STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) activities to stimulate curiosity, problem-solving skills, and innovation in a fun and engaging way.

A: We do provide our Fun at Home exercises to reinforce learning.

A: Our termly worksheets and structured lessons emphasise foundational literacy, numeracy, problem-solving, and social-emotional skills to ensure a smooth transition to formal schooling.

A: We follow the national school term calendar set by the Ministry of Education, but specific holiday schedules may vary by centre.

Teachers & Staffing

A: Yes, each teacher must attend and pass the Smart Reader Teacher Training Programme to ensure they are fully equipped with the skills and knowledge to deliver the Smart Reader Creative Teaching Methodology®.

Apart from that, teachers also regularly participate in our Professional Development Workshops to stay up to date with the latest pedagogical trends and developments, ensuring they provide the best learning experience for your child.

A: Each class maintains a maximum ratio of 1 teacher to 12 students

Enrolment & Fees

A: You can contact your preferred Smart Reader Kids® centre. The principal will assist with registration forms and required documents.

A: Yes, we have 2 standard monthly fees that are applied in Peninsular Malaysia and East Malaysia respectively.

Lunch and transportation fees differ based on centre arrangements and external service providers.

A: The initial fee ranges from RM 1,800+ to RM 2,000+, depending on the selected programme. Flexi payment plans are available at selected centres.

A: Yes! When a new sibling enrols, they will receive a free set of uniform (T-shirt & pants).

Safety & Health

A: Yes, all centres have CCTV surveillance in key areas. Please contact the centre for specific installation details.

A: We have a strict policy to help prevent the spread of illness. Children who are unwell should stay at home to ensure the health and safety of all students and staff. Parents are also encouraged to notify the principal about their child’s health status and absence as soon as possible.

If a child becomes unwell during school hours, we will contact the parent immediately.

A: Yes. The initial registration fee includes annual insurance coverage, applicable for incidents occurring during school hours.
Parents will receive a copy of the policy upon successful registration.

Parental Involvement

A: We conduct parent-teacher meetings twice a year — mid-year and end-of-year — to share updates on your child’s development.

In addition, our teachers provide regular progress updates throughout the year to keep parents informed and involved in their child’s learning journey.

A: Yes. Parents are welcome to visit during designated visiting hours. Please inform the principal in advance to avoid class disruption.

A: Yes. Centres organise educational field trips, Sports Day, Concert, and Graduation Day annually.
