Smart Reader Kids® students express their hope in public speaking contest

SEGAMBUT: In conjunction with the recent World Children Day 2020, preschool programme provider, Smart Reader® Worldwide Sdn Bhd, has organised a special online public speaking for its students nationwide.

With the theme of “Myself, My Hope, My Future”, the contest created a platform for preschoolers between the ages of 4 to 6 to voice out their thoughts on the future in a casual manner.

The contest received overwhelming response from Smart Reader Kids® students nationwide and a total of 30 entries in the form of 3-minute video were shortlisted and selected participants were given medals and certificates in appreciation of their submissions.

Keefe Ong, Executive Director of Smart Reader® Worldwide said it is impressive to hear out the creativity and ingenuity of our little ones, and to a broader extent, inspiring as the students, who will one day be the future leaders, share their vision of the world.

In our 300 Smart Reader Kids® centres across Malaysia, our students are taught to excel not only academically, but also in non-academic skills such like communication, social and emotional development. Competitions and activities such as public speaking allow children to showcase their abilities as well as express themselves effectively and with confidence. Further, the activity encourages active communication within the family and, in turn, fosters and enhances the relationship between family members,” he explained.

On another note, Smart Reader Kids® is now offering a 30% special discount on school fees for 3 months for all private and government frontliners. Parents also stand a chance to win prizes with a total value of more than RM100,000 in conjunction with our 20th Golden Year Jewellery contest by registering at one of our 300 centres nationwide.
