BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES IN THE EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION SECTOR
Kuala Lumpur – On 9th September 2022, during the Franchise International Malaysia (FIM) 2022 exhibition at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, Datuk Haji Mohamad Ali Hassan, Board Member of ANGKASA, Dato’ Sri Dr. Richard Ong, Chief Executive Officer of Smart Reader ® Worldwide and Tuan Haji Zaharuddin Alias, Chairman of KOPUTRA had taken part in the Bicara KOPUTRA session on the topic of ‘Co-operative Sector Business Opportunities with Smart Reader® Worldwide’.
The session was insightful and covered topics on the importance of early childhood education and the business viability and sustainability in the industry, as well as long-term income generating opportunities through participation in the co-operative sector.
The FIM 2022 also witnessed a momentous Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing between KOPUTRA and Smart Reader® Worldwide to reaffirm the commitment of both organisations to further develop and expand in the early childhood education industry, executed by Tuan Haji Zaharuddin Alias and Dato’ Sri Dr. Richard Ong, witnessed by Datuk Azman bin Mohd Yusof, Chief Secretary of Ministry of Domestic Trade & Consumer Affairs (KPDNHEP) and Datuk Haji Mohamad Ali Hassan. To date, KOPUTRA has set up 3 Smart Reader Kids® centres and KOSPETA setting up 1 Smart Reader Kids® centre.
The MoU signing was followed by the signing of letter of intents by 5 co-operatives, namely KOPONAS, FELKOP, SEKATARAKYAT, ANGKASA (Selangor) and KOPENAS to demonstrate their interest in setting up Smart Reader Kids® centres.
Not to be missed, the audience were also entertained by children from Smart Reader Kids® Bukit Kuda, Klang and Smart Reader Kids® Desa Petaling with their wonderful dance performances. The amazing dance presented by the children captured the hearts of all who were present.
