Contest Overview

  1. The Year-End Lucky Draw is organised and sponsored by Smart Reader Worldwide Sdn Bhd in collaboration with Hong Leong Bank
  2. All participants in the contest will be deemed to have accepted the Terms and Conditions.
  3. The contest is open to all customers except for employees of Smart Reader Worldwide Sdn Bhd and Hong Leong Bank who:
  • resides in Malaysia;
  • are of age 3 to 6 years old;
  • have a valid Malaysian identification card/Passport
  1. The Organiser reserves the right to cancel or amend the Terms and Conditions or the mechanics of the Contest without prior notice.

Contest Period

  1. The contest period is from 4th November 2023 until 2nd March 2024 (both dates inclusive) (the “Contest Period”). The contest period may be changed by Smart Reader Worldwide Sdn Bhd and Hong Leong Bank at its discretion.
  2. All entries received before or after the contest period will be disqualified and will not be entered into the draw.

Contest Mechanics

  1. Participants are required to Register in any Smart Reader Kids centre and own/register an HLB 3-in-1 Junior Account/i.
  2. Every registration gain 1 entry into the draw.
  3. Every child that registers will receive 1 SRK t-shirt (applicable for the 1st 200 registration, and the next 300 will receive a water bottle)
  4. Every child that registers will receive a tutorial tote bag (applicable only for Smart Reader Kids Plus Plus students)
  5. Winners shall be selected at random, either by hand or other means and methods (which may be manual or computerised) as the Company may determine in its sole and absolute discretion.
  6. Winners will be notified by direct message on social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Website and blog) at the end of the contest, which is after 5th March 2024.

Prize Collection

  1. The Organiser shall contact the winners in order to collect the prizes.
  2. The prizes are not transferable, exchangeable for cash or any other items. The Organiser’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the contest will be final and no correspondence will be entertained.

Personal Data

  1. By participating in the Contest, the participants consent to their personal data being used by Smart Reader Worldwide Sdn Bhd and Hong Leong Bank for all purposes related to the Contest.
  2. The participants acknowledge and agree that to the fullest extent permitted by law, Smart Reader Worldwide Sdn Bhd and Hong Leong Bank disclaim all liabilities for any claims for damages, losses, costs and/or expenses arising from participants in the Contest.

Force Majeure

  1. The Organiser shall not be liable for any default in respect of the Contest due to any act of war, riot, strike, industrial action, fire, flood, storm technical or system failure or any event beyond the reasonable control of Smart Reader Worldwide Sdn Bhd and Hong Leong Bank

Governing Law

  1. The Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with Malaysian Law.
  2. The Courts of Malaysia shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes arising from these Terms and Conditions, including the validity and enforceability thereof.
